We are seeking a Plant Financial Analyst to join a manufacturer in Manchester, IA. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the financial operations of the manufacturing facility. You’ll work closely with plant leadership and corporate finance to maintain financial controls, ensure policy compliance, and help drive business performance through accurate analysis and forecasting. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with financial processes across purchasing, receiving, production, shipping, and inventory control.
Review payroll timecards and process weekly payroll reports.
Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close process.
Monitor and report on plant spending, forecasts, and budgets.
Maintain internal controls and ensure policy compliance.
Assist with capital expenditure requests and manage capital project tracking.
Partner with plant leadership to analyze results and drive performance improvements.
Support physical inventory, fixed asset controls, and cycle counts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience).
At least 1 year of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in manufacturing.
Proficient in ERP systems
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
High ethical standards and ability to work independently or in a team.
