Job Overview

Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting packaging equipment in conformance to specifications, safety, sanitation, and quality requirements.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Plant maintenance experience or equivalent technical training.
  • Strong electrical experience along with hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • PLC experience is a plus.
  • Must have math and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English
  • Must possess High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

  • Must have full range of motion and be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to tolerate allergen exposure to milk, cocoa and egg proteins.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for 80% of the workday.
  • Must have full range of motion and be able to bend, squat, climb and lift
  • Potential/Existing Hazards

  • Chemical (CIP compounds including Caustics, acids and chlorinated cleaners, ammonia)

Flexibility to work day and evening hours including weekends is required. 

 In return, Prairie Farms; will offer:

Competitive compensation $30.05/hr. $0.55 shift premium from 6 PM to 6 AM.
