Job Overview

Hirschbach is in the final stages of creating our Fun Plex Space within the Dubuque office for our drivers and employees to enjoy. This space offers a Hirschbach cafe and cafeteria area, games, and fitness/workout equipment.

Due to this expansion we are looking to add to the Hirschbach team! Hirschbach is currently seeking a Prep Cook/Barista to assist the Hirschbach Chef in preparing menu items for the Hirschbach cafe.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Prepares and makes a variety of food in accordance with the weekly menu provided by the Hirschbach Chef.
• Prepares and serves hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.
• Runs register and POS system.
• Prepares orders for the next day.
• Restocks inventory and maintains inventory levels and places inventory orders.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and Fun Plex complex.
• Delivers food orders between Hirschbach locations.
• Completes opening and closing checklists.
• Other duties as assigned including proactively assisting others in achieving the organization’s objectives.

This position does require a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving history in order to drive company vehicles between our Dubuque, IA and East Dubuque, IL locations.
