Production Shop Worker

Job Overview

STATUS:                   Full-Time Permanent Position

Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

STARTING PAY:      $19.00 to $25.00 / Hour - Based on skills and experience

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Vanguard Enterprises, Inc. is a well-established and growing countertop (laminate, solid surface, granite) and commercial cabinet manufacturer based in Dubuque, Iowa.  Vanguard manufactures a wide range of customized products for small and large-scale applications throughout the Midwest.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

Production experience helpful. Experience in woodworking and/or laminate preferred.

Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, table saw, routers, and solid surface and granite production techniques.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.

Comply with all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Attention to detail and pride in work.

Responsible self-starter eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions.

Positive attitude and works well as part of a team.
