Advance Pump & Equipment, Inc. is adding a Production Welder to our company, located in Peosta, IA. We look for strong, stand-out people with the desire to elevate our organization, a willingness to learn the customer vacuum tank business and a commitment to results.

Essential Duties

Production Welder duties include but not limited to:

• Assist in all phases of vacuum body weld construction
• MIG & TIG
• Use and control a variety of hand tools
• Be willing to pass a weld certification course
• Willing to work in a team environment with a common goal

Physical Demands

• Will be required to reach, lift, kneel, walk, and stand for several hours at a time
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
• All applicants will undergo a Pre-employment physical and drug test

Requirements

• Prior work experience (1-2 years) in at least carbon steel welding. WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON as long as the applicant has had some exposure to some sort of weld manufacturing
• Industrial welding preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Must have good work references and show good past job history

Position Type: Full Time (40-45 hours a week)

Wage: $22-$27 hourly; paid weekly
