A local Northeast Iowa base company is seeking a Project Coordinator who will plan, organize and coordinating activities of the greenhouse line.   This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll.

What you get to do:

• Assist the senior project manager and project managers in managing and coordinating the schedules for the crews or subcontractors for the greenhouse lines.
• Create and maintain projects in construction management software.
• Work with project managers to drive projected timelines.
• Prepare contracts for subcontractors for the greenhouse lines.
• Assist with booking equipment needed for each job and book equipment for the crews or subcontractors.
• Assist with customer service calls as needed.
• Assist project managers with responsibilities that may include the following:
  • Keep in touch with customers
  • Review and confirm any details on the orders
  • Ensure order is correct before it gets shipped out
• Manage and coordinate schedules for repairs or rework.
• On a daily basis move the orders through the system, assist in assigning orders to Project Managers if needed.
• Scheduling shipping and installation of all greenhouse orders.
• Monitor orders on shipping schedule to ensure release is timely prior to ship date

What we’d like you to bring the table:

• Associates Degree in Business or another related field preferred.
• Two years of experience in the construction field preferred.
• Knowledge of construction requirements and techniques
• Knowledge of safety policies and regulations
• Ability to read and follow complex instructions and read blueprints and schematics
• Ability to define and solve specific customer problems associated with installation
• Ability to manage multiple, complex activities
