CLASSROOM MOVERS
LOCATION: RICHLAND CENTER, WI
WAGE: $18/HOUR
DATES: JUNE 1-3 AND AUG 24-26
Job Summary:
Position is responsible for removing all furniture, materials, and equipment from assigned classrooms to prepare the space for cleaning, renovation, or reorganization. This role requires physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove desks, chairs, shelves, and other furniture from classrooms
- Pack and relocate books, supplies, and teaching materials
- Safely handle and transport equipment (e.g., projectors, whiteboards)
- Dispose of unwanted or damaged items according to guidelines
- Keep work areas clean and organized during the process
- Follow safety procedures while lifting and moving items
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more)
- Basic organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks on time
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous moving, custodial, or warehouse experience is a plus
