Job Overview
Locations: Monroe WI area &
Shift: 1st Shift

Monroe WI area: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–4:30pm or (OT Fridays as needed)

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00+/hr depending on experience

Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met
-
Collect product samples and conduct microbiological, chemical, and physical testing
-
Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, FDA/USDA regulations, SQF, ISO standards, and other food safety requirements
-
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, test results, deviations, and corrective actions
-
Investigate quality concerns, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
-
Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
-
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and maintain consistency
-
Train and support production staff on food safety, quality standards, and proper handling procedures
-
Lead and support QA technicians in daily quality operations (lead-level role)
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred
-
1–3 years of food manufacturing quality control experience (Technician level)
-
3–5+ years of food manufacturing or QA experience with 1–2+ years of leadership preferred (Lead level)
-
Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations
-
Experience using laboratory equipment and conducting quality testing
-
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
-
HACCP, SQF, or related certifications are a plus
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a production environment
