Job Overview
A Dubuque company is looking for a Quality Inspector.
Duties include the following:
- Teach, train, implement, and follow through with quality requirements using both established procedures and judgment
- Assist in training all new employees on the proper welding procedures to meet requirements
- Provide ongoing proactive leadership by setting a good example for others to follow
- Review and sign off on parts, paint, and finished products for quality compliance.
- Ensure that products meet industry standards and inspect full assembly before shipment
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Extensive Welding Experience
- Advanced Blueprint reading skills and interpretations
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
- Able and willing to work in confined spaces for inspections
- Must pass pre-employment physical, vision tests, and drug screen
