Job Overview
Location - On Site: Dubuque, IA
- Coordinate daily operations within the physical/chemical laboratory
- Review testing results for semi-finished and finished goods; investigate nonconformities
- Issue certificates of analysis and verify documentation prior to product shipment
- Lead ISO internal audits and Food Defense team activities
- Develop and validate new testing methods; train and assess team competency
- Support production with quality improvement and compliance with HACCP and FSMA
- Manage corrective actions related to audits, deviations, and supplier issues
- Oversee pest control coordination and religious certification compliance (Kosher/Halal)
- Champion Lean and Six Sigma practices (Green Belt certification required)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- FSMA PCQI certification
- HACCP certification
- Experience in food manufacturing
- Familiarity with FDA, USDA, or APHIS regulations
- Exposure to Halal/Kosher certification and audit processes
