Quality Engineer

Location: Delaware County area - Iowa

Salary: Up to $80,000 + / year 

 Direct Hire Role

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for assuring quality products and identifying process improvements by establishing and enforcing quality standards; testing materials and products; analyzing data and originating process improvements. The best fit candidate will have a solid proven work history of Quality Engineering ISO-9001 experience in a manufacturing environment. The right fit will also possess an mechanical / agricultural or electrical engineering degree from am accredit college.

What you get to do:

• Assist in development of Quality process strategy and identifying opportunities for improvement across the organization
• Evaluating and interpreting both industry requirements and internal Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements with the goal of developing procedures and instructions
• Helping site Quality teams, Quality Inspectors, and/or senior Quality leadership as subject matter expert (SME) to investigate and correct quality issues and establish continuous improvement opportunities
• Lead and facilitate projects generated from our High-Performance Team Board process
• Lead and facilitate installation and implementation of ISO-9001 quality management systems.

What we need from you:

•  BS in Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical or Industrial Engineering degree (required)
• 3+ years of overall knowledge and work experience of quality / continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of ISO Certification process
