Base salary: $75k - $90k / year + full robust benefits package

Direct Hire Opportunity 

A local Manchester, Iowa manufacturer is seeking a Quality Engineer who will be part of a collaborative team of responsible for executing the organizations Quality Management System in accordance with ISO-9001 and internal strategic objectives. The right fit candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and possess ISO-9000 professional working experience. This is an on-site direct hire opportunity, meaning, the best fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company payroll and receive their robust benefits package. 

What you get to do (in a snap-shot):

• Identifying and leveraging best practices in Quality Assurance and Manufacturing-related processes
• Assisting in development of Quality process strategy and identifying opportunities for improvement across the organization
• Evaluating and interpreting both industry requirements and internal Quality Management Systems requirements with the goal of developing robust company procedures and instructions,
• Helping site Quality teams, Quality Inspectors, and/or senior Quality leadership as subject matter expert to investigate and correct quality issues and establish continuous improvement opportunities
• Lead and facilitate projects generated from our High-Performance Team Board process.
• Lead and facilitate installation and implementation of ISO-9001 quality management systems.

What we’d like you to bring to the opportunity:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related college degree
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and control within a production or manufacturing industry. 
  • ISO-9000 working experience (required)
  • Six-Sigma, Lean working experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
