Quality Systems II

CEDAR RAPIDS

This position would be FT hours on day shift, candidate would be responsible for data entry in the Quality Department.
Office environment, with occasional time spent in Production Facilities.

Primary Duties:
*Develop appropriate computer and Microcomputer applications for the collection and organization of quality data.
*Maintain Legacy database applications.
*Develop and maintain Quality System Intranet website.
*Design databases to supplement ERP system to perform data analysis.
*Create analysis of Cost and Quality information to identify trends and causes, and summarize significant liabilities for monthly management review meetings.
*Prepare other reports as required.
*Support other quality initiatives as required.
*Any other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
*Associate Degree in Computer Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience in Quality Systems and/or Computer Technology PREFERRED.
*Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Products; including SQL, Access, Excel, FrontPage. Lotus database product. HTML and active server page programming. Also, client server applications, operating systems, LAN design, and directory structure.
*Maintain current knowledge of professional trends.
*Sound communication, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to plan work.
*Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and Quality Standards.


Hourly Range:
$18 – 20 per hour
