What you’ll do:

Be the doctor of our Plants! Diagnose and repair Ready-Mix Plants and scales accordingly as needed. The individual in this role is responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the Company Ready-Mix Plants truck scales, plant operation assistance, and general overall preventative maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble & Build new Ready-mix Plants.
  • Take down/ Disassemble/ Move Ready-mix plants
  • Scale repairs and calibrations
  • Troubleshoot and Repair mechanical problems on Plants and scales
  • Troubleshoot and Repair electrical problems on Plants and scales
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Plumbing issues on plants and scales
  • Organize, track, and log all completed repairs
  • Analyze defected equipment to determine required repairs
  • Ability to diagnose electrical and pneumatic problems
  • Ability to weld and work with metal using stick and MIG welders.
  • Can operate a computer system for record management of maintenance reports.
  • Perform plant and facility maintenance at ready mix, which will include basic electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic trouble shooting.
  • Perform other duties or functions as directed by management in line with the business objectives of the company.

Requirements

What you’ll need:

  • Two years of experience or combination of schooling in mechanical repair, welding, Electrical troubleshooting and/or maintenance.
  • Valid Class B commercial driver’s license required. Class A preferred
  • Ability to work comfortably at heights
  • Able to safely climb silos
  • Flexibility with working in changing weather conditions
