Now Hiring: Real Estate Development Manager
Location: Dubuque, IA
Salary: $30,000–$60,000 (Based on Experience) + Commissions

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local real estate firm to find a motivated and experienced Real Estate Development Manager. This is a full-time opportunity for a dynamic professional to lead real estate development projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong financial acumen, and be comfortable navigating zoning and entitlement processes, marketing and leasing strategies, and development project management.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Identify, analyze, and lead new real estate development opportunities
• Conduct financial analysis and due diligence on potential acquisitions
• Prepare proformas, proposals, budgets, and project documents
• Oversee public approvals, zoning, permitting, and community meetings
• Manage development schedules, budgets, consultants, and construction processes
• Support marketing and lease-up efforts to achieve project goals
• Coordinate financing applications and manage closing processes
• Prepare reports, board materials, and investor updates
• Represent the company in community and industry settings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MURP, MCP, or similar advanced degree preferred
• 3–5 years of real estate development experience required
• Experience with multi-layered financing and affordable housing preferred
• Strong communication and public presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (MS Project and PowerPoint a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and take initiative with confidence
