What You’ll Do:
Recruiting Process
- Guide candidates and Dupaco supervisors through the recruiting process in a timely manner while delivering a positive, differentiated Dupaco experience.
- Create effective job advertisements to attract diverse, experienced applicants for Dupaco employment opportunities primarily for positions that are recruited and filled most frequently at Dupaco.
- Effectively monitor candidates in UKG Recruiting Gateway software (Applicant Tracking System) using dispositions, descriptive notes, email templates, and timely decisions for each candidate.
- Coordinate with Dupaco Supervisors and candidates to conduct phone interviews, plan interviews, and schedule other candidate/supervisor touchpoints throughout the recruiting process.
- Ensure Dupaco supervisors are provided all supporting documents in the Recruiting Process to aid them in making an informed/prepared hiring decision. Including: Predictive Index tools (candidate behavioral profiles, job profiles, and interview guides), candidate video questionnaire responses, interview documents (Dupaco Interview Guides, Candidate Scorecards, and job descriptions), and candidate preferences (pay expectations, availability, etc.).
- Extend verbal and written employment offers to prospective employees once a hiring decision has been made.
- Transition ‘new hires’ from the Applicant Tracking System to the HRIS for all hires on the Recruiting Team.
- Follow employment laws, recruiting policies, and maintain sensitive information and data throughout the recruiting process.
Dupaco Brand Representation
- Guided by Dupaco’s Mission, Vision, and Values; effectively create and build relationships with others that may engage in Dupaco’s recruiting process by attending local networking opportunities (career fairs, community events, etc.).
- Increase applicant flow by providing various means of connection to potential candidates (Connect Cards, Business Cards, active postings, etc.).
- Participate in the research and implementation of effective recruiting strategies that are innovative and creative or increase efficiency in the recruiting and selection process.
General
- Contributes to the HR and Recruiting team by providing suggestions for improvement.
- Assists with generating and reviewing HR and Recruiting team reports/analytics.
- Seeks feedback to continuously improve recruiting skills, knowledge and techniques.
- Demonstrates continuous learning and understanding of Human Resources laws and regulations.
- Supports individual, departmental and Credit Union goals.
- Serves as a back-up and support to the HR and Recruiting team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- Required Work Experience: ensuring compliance in a heavily regulated industry/position, managing time-sensitive projects independently, detailed data entry, navigating confidential information, and critical process adherence.
- Preferred Work Experience: two years related HR, and specifically recruiting experience.
- Required Knowledge and Skills: strong organization ability, ability to prioritize work assignments, ability to listen/communicate professionally with a diverse audience, self-motivation, strong reasoning ability, proficiency with computers/technology (ability to learn Applicant Tracking System, moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office products, operate audio/video equipment, and navigate various online training programs).
- Preferred knowledge/skills: applicable human resource legislation and regulatory rulings regarding employment, safety, labor relations, personnel, and equal opportunity policies which will impact the Credit Union’s personnel policies.
- Maintains general ongoing knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- National or local SHRM membership encouraged.
- Active in related HR associations and organizations.
