Description:

Our unit recovers patients after receiving anesthesia for surgical procedures.  We work closely with physicians and anesthesia providers to provide highest quality of care.  We recover many types of procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, cardiovascular, urology, obstetrical and many others.  
•    We care for all ages in our department.  
•    Nurses work 10-hour shifts with additional call shifts during the week, on week ends, and are on call one holiday a year.  
•    Shifts vary from 0700-1900 and nurses are on call from 1900-0700.  
•    Schedules are in a block format. This allows for planning in advance which days you will be working.  
Nurses receive a 6-8 week orientation.  Orientation times is also based on experience.   Critical care experience preferred, but not required.
