Description:
Full time position in the Pediatrics department at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center. Primarily night position; this position is also required to work every third weekend and every third holiday. Will be cross trained to care for postpartum moms and newborns in addition to being cross trained to the NICU.
Required to become PALS and NRP certified in first six months; Mandatory Reporter and BLS also required.
Position Hours: Every third weekend and holiday, this position is a rotating day/ night position that primarily will work 1800-0630 or 0600-1830
The Birth Center has three diverse units that work together as a cohesive service line. The staff is comprised of nurses and OB techs (CNAs). Be part of a goal and team-oriented unit that continually back each other up and support the different departments within the service line. Schedules for all positions are considered "cooperative scheduling."
