Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Retail Pharmacy Tech!
As a Retail Pharmacy Tech at MercyOne, you will:
- Work as part of a team to complete accurate insurance/client/customer billing and collections
- Serve as a resource for all Retail Pharmacy reimbursement, billing, regulatory and compliance issues including Long Term Care, Hospice, Skilled, Retail, Medicare, 340B, etc
- Assist the Director of Finance to attain objectives related to Retail Pharmacy business functions
- Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and Retail Pharmacy staff to achieve operational indicators
Schedule:
- 40 hours a week
General Requirements:
- High school (or equivalent) graduate
- Retail or Long-Term Care or Medicare B Pharmacy billing experience preferred
- Knowledge of electronic billing systems and PC applications preferred
- Possess a beginner to intermediate level understanding of Excel
- Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 5 years thereafter
