Description:
Providing care for newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, including assessments, monitoring and administration of medication(s). Will be cross trained to care for postpartum moms and newborns, as well as care for patients in the Pediatric department.
Assigned to work every third weekend and holiday, this position is a rotating nights position that primarily will work 1800-0630.
Will work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists and laboratory personnel to fulfill patient's plan of care. Must be willing to become certified in NRP in the first six months and PALS in the first year, in addition to Mandatory Reporter and BLS.
