We are looking for a PRN RN to join our team. Work hours will vary per the need of the department.

Staff in our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) care for and monitor patients as they recover from the effects of anesthesia. This includes all aspects of patient care following surgery.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing care for patients with actual or potential health care problems using the nursing process. Interprets patient information and makes critical decisions about needed actions. Plans and directs the nursing care for individuals, patients, groups of patients and their families, coordinating care in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide patient-centered care post-operatively to our surgical patients.

Qualifications

Must hold an active license to practice nursing in the state of Iowa. The position requires at least an Associate's degree in nursing. RN employees are required to have or obtain a BSN within five years after their start date with UnityPoint Health - Finley Hospital.
