Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy

• Educate and empower patients and families throughout their treatment journey

• Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, therapists, and fellow nurses

• Monitor symptoms, manage side effects, and be a calm, trusted presence every day

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Must obtain BSN within 12 years of hire)

Experience:

• 1-3 years of nursing experience
• Previous oncology experience preferred

Certification/License:

• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire
