Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy

Educate and empower patients and families throughout their treatment journey

Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, therapists, and fellow nurses

Monitor symptoms, manage side effects, and be a calm, trusted presence every day
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Must obtain BSN within 12 years of hire)
Experience:
- 1-3 years of nursing experience
- Previous oncology experience preferred
Certification/License:
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire
