Simon’s Trucking is in search of a Safety & Recruiting Assistant that will be responsible in providing administrative support to the Safety & Recruiting Manager. This is an entry level position that will assist our Safety Department in maintaining compliance with state, federal and employer safety regulations and policies as well as assisting in recruiting and orientation.

Qualifications include:

• Time management and ability to meet deadlines

• Team-oriented

• Willing to learn new skills to help in the success of the safety department

• Verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Problem-solving and decision making

• Proactivity and self-direction

• Interpersonal skills

• CDL A is a plus but not mandatory
