Job Overview

Managed Solutions Group has an opening for a Full-time Sales Support Specialist. The Sales Support Specialist will work cooperatively with the sales staff and other members of the team coordinating sales support processes, implementations and assisting with the delivery of technology-based services and solutions for new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

Processes sales data, sales progress reports and other sales related materials, records and reports

Works with sales team on proposals, correspondence, contracts, RFP/RFI, and special projects

Assists in answering the company phones, conveys messages and monitors the flow of e-mail

Maintains client database by inputting customer profile and updates

Prepares sales and marketing materials and presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and materials

Performs trade show follow up correspondence

Follows up on status of proposals, contracts and projects with sales team

Provides ongoing feedback for further strategy development, enhancement, correction and deployment of strategy

Provide metrics and trend reporting to sales team in support of daily requests, quarterly review process and annual customer strategy reviews

Oversees the gathering of data and the analysis of information concerning product specifications provided from manufacturers and service vendors

Analyze all data to ensure that performance standards are maintained and customer requirements are consistently met

 Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Must have a minimum 3+ year’s administrative experience in a professional business or operations support company.

Requires strong computer skills including knowledge of web-based software platform, networks and MS Office Suite to include proficiency in spreadsheet software and word processing

Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills

Must be detail-oriented with excellent written, communication, customer service, organizational and project management skills.

Must be an effective time manager; prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Some physical effort is required which may involve long periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing or similar activities as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds

Requires a valid, restriction-free drivers license along with reliable transportation and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage per employment policy
