A local Dubuque area based company is seeking a Salesforce Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintaining data solutions within the Salesforce platform. This role requires a strong understanding of data architecture, data integration, data modeling, and data governance principles, combined with expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem. This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and receive full benefits package.

What you get to do:

• Design and implement data architecture solutions within the Salesforce platform to support business requirements and data-driven initiatives.
• Develop and maintain data integration processes, including extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into Salesforce.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and design scalable and efficient data models.
• Create and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
• Monitor data performance and troubleshoot data-related issues, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
• Conduct data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and propose solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and tools, and evaluate their potential impact on data engineering processes.
• Document data architecture designs, data flows, and technical specifications.

What we’d like you to bring to the opportunity

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Proven experience with SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
