Decker Precision Machining is currently looking for successful candidates to fill Saw Operator positions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Individuals must possess a positive working attitude and be dedicated to learn
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
• Strong basic math skills
• Working knowledge of steel shapes and sizes
• Ability to be trained to set up and maintain both vertical and horizontal band saws
• Forklift experience
• Check parts against print for accuracy
• Deburr parts
• Maintain a safe and organized production area
• Operate CNC machine — lathe, mill, or saw as needed
• Other Job duties as required
• Help with any end-of-shift cleanup
• Willing to work overtime
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment and random drug screening

Skills:

• Must be self-motivated
• Will train on the use of measuring tools of the trade (indicator, micrometer, calipers, tape measure, and basic tool set)
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus
• Good communication skills
• Demonstrate autonomy, precision, thoroughness, resourcefulness, and reliability
• Ability to work as a team and individually as needed
• Ability to use small hand tools and operate power tools
• Strong basic math skills
• Basic warehouse skills

Hours:

• First Shift work 5:30AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday (this is the overtime schedule)
• Overtime is available on an as needed basis
• Second Shift work 2:20PM-1:30 AM Monday-Thursday (this is the overtime schedule)
