SERVICE COORDINATOR
DIRECT HIRE: ONSITE
SALARY: $50K-$55K/YEAR
This position is two-fold: Service Coordinator and Service Billing Specialist. As a Service Coordinator, you will work directly with customers to provide quality service as part of the Team to ensure our customers receive the services needed in a timely and organized fashion. As a Service Billing Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the service billing process for our customers in a timely and accurate manner.
General Requirements:
1-3 years of industry experience related to customer service, scheduling and billing.
Strong team member with positive attitude and persistence to excel.
Able to assess the service needs of our customers and provide direction for service team in resolving customer issues.
Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.
Proven superior customer service skills, including interpersonal conversations, patience and flexibility.
Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills a must
Answer telephone and respond to customer needs timely and professionally.
Effective and accurate computer skills needed to perform lookup and create/maintain service orders.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel & MS Word, in particular)
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities:
Review work orders for complete and accurate information
Determine work order requirements and priority. Communicate those requirements with Shop and Parts managers.
Process daily work orders and warranty claims in a timely and accurate fashion.
Maintain service board daily and report variances as needed with appropriate team members.
Present as primary point of contact for all service for internal and external Harris customers.
Ensure customer is given the necessary services and follow up to fill their ongoing service needs.
Monitor customer service contracts and equipment inspections in timely fashion to insure our equipment, as well as that of our customer, is meeting expectations.
Identify and implement process improvements to improve the customer experience as well as improve overall efficiency targets.
Conduct customer survey and report results to management team.
