Hills & Dales is dedicated to building meaningful lives for people disabilities. Our health services team and nurses accompany the children and adults supported by Hills & Dales in with their health needs and oversight.

The Nurse is responsible for providing day-to-day preventative, maintenance, restorative and emergency nursing support for the residents at Hills & Dales Intermediate Care Facility. This role ensures physician orders and treatment plans are implemented. This role also requires a collaborative working relationship with all necessary departments in the performance of its operations. Attention to detail, high quality documentation and compassion are essential for candidates to be successful in this position. Hills & Dales is unique as we are one of only three providers in the state of Iowa supporting children with intellectual disabilities and who need 24-hr nursing support. Our work is deeply needed, our team members are oriented toward children reaching the most opportunities possible. Nurses coordinate across schools systems, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, local health systems, and specialties. There is never a dull moment as the nursing team seeks to improve outcomes for people with disabilities!

Positions currently available:

Full-time 72-hours per 2-week pay period.

Competitive Wages + Great Benefits

Wellmark BCBS Health Insurance only $1 per month--even for family plans.

Great Hours: 3-12 hour shift and rotating 4th weekend.

Additional pay
2pm - 10pm $2/hr
Weekend at $3/hr
Student loan tuition payment program / CEU up to $200 monthly

Requirements:

1. Free of a conviction or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.
2. Certification as a licensed practical nurse; registered nurse preferred.
3. Valid driver's license to drive agency vehicles, as needed.
4. Agency and State required trainings offered by Hills & Dales.

Offer of employment contingent upon successful completion of criminal background checks and drug screening. EOE
