Job Overview
As a Shuttle Driver/Warehouse Technician, you are responsible for the safe and efficient transport and parking of trailers in the trailer yard and dock doors upon request supporting our warehouse operation. In addition, this is a hybrid role which will support forklift operation (on the job training provided!), unloading, loading, picking and putting away material daily when there are no driving needs.

Here we focus on receiving, repacking, and storing material from a global supply base. When our customer needs the parts, we safely and efficiently pick the parts using heavy industrial equipment and ship it to them just-in-time.

- 2nd shift Monday-Friday (11:30am - 8:00pm) overtime and weekends as needed
- Respond to all trailer movement requests in a timely manner
- Effectively communicate with work colleagues
- Ensure safe movement of trailers to/from dock
- Ensure working order of loading dock gear
- Groom trailer yard for maximum efficiency
- Use RF Scanner to ship/receive containers and racks as needed
- Operate all material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Comply with all OSHA and site-specific safety and PPE requirements
- Maintain overall cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse
- Work toward continuous improvement
- Stay current with changing technology
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
- Audit items located within drop zone for accuracy
- Safely load and secure items for transport
- CDL (Class A) required
- An awesome attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma, GED or continuing education preferred
- Forklift experience highly desired, but on the job, training provided!
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Tools)
- RF Scan gun experience a plus
