Site Coordinator (RN/LPN)
Position is for Acute & Urgent Care
Grand River Medical Group is seeking an experienced and confident Nurse to supervise our Acute & Urgent Care Clinics. As a Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising the staff and the daily operations related to patient care.
The ideal candidate will provide a high-quality customer experience while maintaining a friendly and positive environment. Dependability and flexibility with schedule is a must. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational skills. They will need to be a strong team player and work closely with other Site Coordinators and PSR Coordinators across the organization. Display self-motivation while possessing the ability to work independently well as part of a team.
This is a full-time, salaried position, 40-45 hours per week. Acute & Urgent Care Clinics are open Monday-Friday, 7:30am-7:00pm, and Saturday-Sunday, 8:30am-4:00pm.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide direct supervision to specific department staff, ensuring appropriate assessment and treatment of patients.
- Manage the training and development of current and newly hired staff.
- Prepare schedules and assign work to ensure adequate and efficient staffing levels to deliver a high standard of patient service.
- Perform evaluations and address performance issues with the assistance of the Operations Manager and/or Human Resources.
- Serve as a key problem-solving resource for staff on patient issues.
- Monitor patient feedback and help resolve complaints and service issues.
- Analyze patient flow and suggest solutions for revealed problems within the clinic.
- Assist with the implementation of new process, procedure and policies for improving clinician and staff efficiencies for clinical functions.
- Perform administrative duties, which may include, but are not limited to, preparing and monitoring timekeeping reports, compiling data and reports, and managing electronic medical record.
- Perform nursing duties as assigned.
- Fill in for patient service representative staff as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- The Site Coordinator has supervisory responsibility that can account for 15-20 direct reports.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Must be a licensed RN or LPN with an active license to practice in the state of Iowa; BSN preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
