DEVOPS ENGINEER 1- CLOUD ENGINEER

CONTRACT: REMOTE

WAGE: $45/HR

Summary:
The main function of a DevOps Software Engineer is to use CoE best practices to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs including mainframe and client/server applications, and major enhancement of existing systems.

Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain AWS CI/CD Pipelines, QA Automation
• Design and implement CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Design, evaluate, implement, document, and provide instruction on DevOps pipeline implementation and best practices
• Provide support and fine-tune a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects across other product teams
• Gather, analyze, and review system requirements/enhancements, document specifications, and develop software solutions
• Monitor and manage cloud deployments, including the implementation of auto-scaling and cost-management techniques
• Prepare the detailed software specifications and test plans
• Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs
• Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation
• Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• Entry -2 years experience required in an IT field with at least 1 year in a DevOps role
• Experience implementing Ping and Sailpoint Applications
• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Large IT security, systems software design, and development experience
• Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems
• Experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution
