Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Panel Installer to join our renewable energy team. The installer will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. This position plays a key role in helping customers reduce their carbon footprint and energy costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install solar panels and support structures in residential and commercial environments
• Interpret and follow design blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings
• Ensure the systems meet industry standards and building codes
• Perform electrical wiring and connect solar panels to the electrical grid or battery systems
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and safety protocols on job sites
• Work at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Collaborate with electricians, roofers, and project managers to complete installations on time

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical school certificate is a plus
• Experience in construction, roofing, or electrical work preferred
• Knowledge of solar PV systems and components (e.g., inverters, racking systems)
• Comfortable working on rooftops and using ladders, lifts, and harnesses
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
• OSHA 10/30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
