How can you make an Impact?

 

As a Sr. Technical Business Analyst – SCM Analyst, this role will primarily support our two Oracle eBusiness Application Suites, serving the Supply Chain community in the MHE application landscape for Order to Cash and Purchase to Pay management functions.  We are currently in the process of migrating the current On-Premise Oracle eBusiness Suite (for Order to Cash) to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

 

You will have the opportunity to work within the Global Technology Services Organization is responsible for identifying and delivering innovative enterprise technology solutions to meet strategic business needs. Working with the MHE Leadership Team and Project Management Office, this role will be responsible for enabling key business applications in the Cloud as part of a larger IT Strategy to enable Cloud application solutions. 

 

What can you expect from the position?

 

  • Conducts reviews and analysis of business and information technology processes and solicits client requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures
  • Identifies customer requirements, writes functional designs, reviews technical designs, develops test scripts, reviews testing plans, and tracks and documents the development and results of these plans
  • Evaluates business requirements for enterprise business applications integration and service activation while delivering new or modified software systems enhancements and/or integrated solutions
  • Participates in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of system requirements
  • Determine underlying issues to common business problems and use appropriate influencing, negotiation, and change management techniques to implement best practice solutions
  • Work with the Business Leadership to identify strategic business needs, high-level requirements, potential technology solutions, and business benefits for enterprise application projects
  • Alerts project managers to potential risks and issues of importance

What can you bring to the role?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or combination of education and equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, as a Technical Business Analyst - Oracle
  • Experience in application support and management of Oracle EBS (R12 preferred but 11i acceptable) and Cloud
  • Manage Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) & Order Management (OM)
    • Procurement modules
    • Order to Cash
    • Inventory
    • AP
    • AR
  • Subscriptions/Service Management is a key component
  • Experience in ERP implementation and management, End to End
  • Oracle SaaS exposure is preferred
  • Experience in successfully aligning technology around strategic business goals in large global organizations
  • Knowledge of a broad range of business processes with an understanding of impacts on financial processes
  • Proven ability to work with diverse groups of people in challenging and complex endeavors, as demonstrated by successful team experience
  • Proven ability to work directly and communicate effectively with all levels and groups across the organization and provide useful information and explanations about technical issues in a complete, accurate, and understandable manner
  • Experience performing detailed data analysis, including the ability to create, run and modify SQL queries

The pay range for this position is between $50,000 - $150,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
