Assistant Store Manager

Assistant Store Manager needed in Lamont area!

This is a full time position. Could possibly be a direct hire position. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in all retail operations including product production, inventory, personnel, sales, and marketing for the business/store assigned. 

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with the store's business plan by working with the store manager, owner and other members of the leadership team, 
• Ensure that all guest services in all areas meet or exceed company standards,
• Assist in training and new hire orientation to clearly communicate job expectations;
• Ensure that every member of leadership and team is trained and fully knowledgeable on all systems and routines, products, food safety practices and business safety practices.
• Monitor each team member’s performance and job contributions,
• Provide ongoing and productive constructive criticism for continual team improvements,
• Assist in maintaining inventory, project demand changes, and ensure that cash control/security procedures are followed.
• Ensure safety in all aspects; maintain a safe, secure and health facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local standards

Experience/Abilities Needed:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Convenience store and/or casual dining management experience preferred, but not required – will train!
• ServSafe certified or approved equivalent – will help obtain if needed.
• Perform under pressure in high-volume location
• Work in and out of different temperature ranges.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work around allergen products
