Strategic Accounts Manager

Job Overview

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Strategic Accounts Manager is responsible for managing key customer relationships and supporting strategic sales initiatives to drive incremental, profitable growth. This individual will help develop and execute business strategies to expand existing accounts, identify new distribution opportunities, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. The Strategic Accounts Manager will work closely with the VP of Strategic Accounts & Business Development, Regional Sales VPs, & cross functionally with Sourcing, Product, & Marketing to ensure resources effectively support strategic business objectives and growth within established accounts.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key strategic accounts and buying groups, ensuring alignment with company objectives and long-term growth goals.
• Identify, target, and close new business opportunities within the retail channel and adjacent distribution channels.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for strategic account management and new business growth.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for expansion, improved product placement, and stronger market positioning.
• Lead regular business reviews with strategic accounts to evaluate sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and align on future initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure successful execution of customer programs and initiatives.
• Provide accurate sales forecasting and inventory planning input to support demand management and operational alignment.
• Monitor sales performance within assigned accounts and implement strategies to improve product placement, merchandising, and sell-through.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Travel Required.
