Your Responsibilities
As a Supply Management Specialist, Supply Chain Integration for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA you will:
- Work closely with product line engineering on new part development ensuring early supplier integration and Strategic Sourcing alignment
- Manage cost using Enterprise tools and engaging Cost Management as appropriate to meet or beat established program targets
- Be responsible for procurement of parts on 5 – 9 metric ton Excavators to manage timelines and support mule builds, durability builds, and production launches
- Support sourcing on < 5 metric ton models to enable start-up of manufacturing on behalf of Deere
- Collaborate with Procurement team to ensure seamless part transition into production environment

What Skills You Need
- 2 or more years of Supply Management or Design Engineering experience
- Experience working in SAP/PDM Link
- Experience in Continuous Improvement or Enterprise Product Delivery Process
- Data analytics skills using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and Power Bi
- Experience with negotiations and/or supplier cost gap resolution
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, and execute cross-functionality
- Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25%
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience in Supply Management or Material Flow
- Knowledge of SAP, PDM, JDSN Tools
- Understanding of the quality procedures
- Experience developing/managing contracts
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Supply Management, Business/Management or Engineering/Technology disciplines or equivalent related work experience
