Your Responsibilities
As a Technology Integration Systems Engineer for Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will lead/coordinate with software team to evaluate and integrate hardware, controls, and software solutions for Small Excavator Technology. In addition, you will:
- Collaborate with Precision Construction team resources to integrate hardware and software for technology systems (i.e. Grade Control, Jobsite Safety)
- Support implementation of technology software and systems on current and future programs
- Perform software systems engineering tasks, e.g., stakeholder needs reviews, software requirements development, architecture development, diagnostics definition, and design/code reviews

What Skills You Need
- 2 or more years of Electrical Engineering experience performing analysis, testing and/or design work
- Experience working with system requirements, electronic hardware, circuit design and analysis
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and experience leading small teams
- Strong organization and workload planning skills
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with Grade Control Technology
- Experience in vehicle electrical system design and troubleshooting
- Experience developing and writing vehicle software requirements
- Knowledge of embedded software development and/or model-based control systems
- Experience with the following hardware/software tools: Capital Harness, PDM Link, or Matlab/Simulink
- Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering or MIT/CalTech certificate completion
- J1939 CAN, EMB 32, and design for diagnostics experience
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
