This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
This position may be located in Davenport, Iowa or Dubuque, Iowa, per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.
Your Responsibilities
As a Technical Lead – Manufacturing Planning & Design for the Construction & Forestry Division, you will….
- Own the Manufacturing Design (MD) Process for new product development (PDP) and current production process optimization including Mfg Process Planning, Line Design and Industrial Engineering (Labor Standards Development)
- Lead material flow process definitions and guidelines for the division in collaboration with factory material flow teams
- Collaborate with technical leads from other production systems and C&F factory stakeholders to leverage and share best practices across the division
- Lead technical discussions partnering with factory stakeholders related to industrial engineering concepts, manufacturing design, manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM), and labor standards development
- Enable data-based visualizations and insights leveraging process planning data and solutions development leveraging the Manufacturing Process Management (MPM) platform
- Develop documentation, coach, train new engineers on manufacturing design concepts, and implementation of MPM across the division

What Skills You Need
- Proven experience in Manufacturing Design and managing PDP and OFP processes
- Expert level understanding of Windchill and MPMLink Platform encompassing EBOM structures, Change Management, CAD visualizations and MBOM creation processes and utilities such as MAPSB
- Proven experience managing windchill structures related to resource tree, process plan, routing operations and manufacturing bills of materials (MBOM)
- Demonstrated experience of MPPlanner, managing process plans, SOE, BOM allocations, reconciliation and Graphical Sequence of Events, Developing & Maintaining Labor Standards
- Project Management experience to ensure timely completion of projects with the right scope and output by collaborating with team-members to anticipate roadblocks, remove obstacles, proper escalation process, sound project planning, regular achievements tracking, etc.
- Strong communicator – ability to communicate to the technical teams as an engineer and help guide them through the process developing technical solutions. Additionally, being able to communicate strategic vision to leadership
- Experience working with a diverse team globally
What Makes You Stand Out
- Demonstrated experience with manufacturing design process definition and optimization with simulation software tools such as FlexSim.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Vis Mockup, and ergonomics using Vis Jack
- Ability to work with a wide variety of technologies including Power Bi, Ignition, Databricks, HANA, SQL, Oracle etc
- Proven ability to scout new technologies and carry through to implementation
- Experience with Power Platforms, Ignition and Tableau
- Ability to think outside the box to develop new process and methods to solve complex problems
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
