Bank Representative / Teller

UNIVERSAL BANKER

POSSIBLE TO HIRE

WAGE: $17/HOUR

DUBUQUE, IA

PRIMARY & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Operate a teller window regularly to meet the needs of customers
2. Maintains an acceptable Cash Over and Short account according to the bank policy guidelines. 
3. Explain and promote bank products or services to customers and actively participate in the referral program
4. Effectively use sales skills
5. Maintain confidentiality in handling customer and bank information.
6. Follow security policies and procedures to prevent bank and customer losses.
7. Resolve customer complaints.
8. Maintain a detailed level of knowledge on retail products and services
9. Works collaboratively with the banking team to  achieve customer service and sales objectives

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma/GED. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in sales & customer service
• Previous teller or cash handling experience preferred, but not required
• Experience providing high quality customer service
• High attention to detail
• Experience working in a team environment
• Ability to count and balance cash
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage time
• Knowledge of MS Office, Windows and ten key calculator
