Job Overview
Summary:
Temporary supplement department staffing due to reasons such as interim replacement for individuals on leave of absence, assist with completion of a project or fill in for open positions. Employment assignments in this category are of limited duration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Temp employees may be used in most positions and can move from department to department as needed to assist in areas that are in most need of employees.
- Temp employees may be subject to work any shift.
- Temp employees may be called into work on an as needed basis to fill in for departments.
- Work hours or duration of assignment is not guaranteed. Employees need to stay in constant communication with their Manager/Supervisor as to the hours that are available for work.
- Temp employees have the right to turn down work if its offered and does not fit into their schedule.

- Ability to read and follow verbal/written instructions given by team lead, supervisor, or manager
- Ability to read simple blueprints, schematics or operating procedures
- Ability to accurately measure
- Ability to use tools safely and effectively
- Ability to handle production raw materials and subassemblies safely
- Knowledge of corporate production methods and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Skilled in using tools and equipment
- Ability to maintain work orders
- Must have basic computer skills
- Skilled in problem solving
- Forklift operation ability/experience preferred
Language Skills
Written and verbal language skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to continuously stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to communicate and listen to co-workers and is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. In addition to the lifting the job requires various carrying, pushing/pulling, kneeling, crawling and squatting.
Additional Training
Continuous training in production, warehouse and safety procedures, and certification in the operation of heavy equipment as needed.
