Join the Y and make a difference! The Dubuque YMCA / YWCA is hiring for a full-time and part-time assistant teaching position in our 2 and 3 year old room! Starting at $11.50/hour, eligible for a hire on bonus, training bonus, and retention bonus. This position includes a free Y membership and meals are provided if your shift is during a mealtime. No nights or weekends are required and we are closed most holidays! Full-time staff will also be eligible for health and dental insurance, 10% retirement after meeting eligibility requirements, and 19 days of PTO during your first year of employment!

Qualified candidates will:

• Provide a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on building achievement and belonging
• Be familiar (or willing to become familiar) with child management techniques and appropriate child behavior
• Following CACFP food programming guidelines, will assist with snack preparation, serving, and clean-up
• Be familiar (or willing to become familiar) with DHS regulations and obtain educational requirements as required by DHS
