Job Overview

Express is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker for a Peosta company. 1st and 2nd shifts available.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and fabricate dies, tools, and assemblies with safety and efficiency in mind
  • Verify part dimensions using various measuring tools
  • Assemble and repair tools, dies, gauges, and jigs
  • Design templates and troubleshoot issues
  • Select appropriate materials and perform heat treating and welding as needed
  • Changeover dies based on production requirements
  • Must have own tools

Details:

  • Monday-Friday with overtime as needed
  • 1st shift

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Journeyman card or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in measuring tools
  • CAD experience (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks) is a plus
  • Wire EDM experience is helpful
