Job Overview

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Tool Designer for a leading manufacturing company in Dubuque, IA. This role focuses on designing, modifying, and maintaining tools and fixtures used in production to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling for manufacturing processes
• Update and improve existing tool designs to support production needs
• Work closely with engineers and machinists to troubleshoot and refine tools
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications

Qualifications:

• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Prior tool design or machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
