Job Title: Tower Associate

Express Employment in Platteville WI has partnered with a local business in MUSCODA WI to search for a candidate to support their business in a Tower Associate. This is a full-time position.

Job Description:

The Tower Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of cheese products before they reach the customer. This position works closely with Sales, the Order Fulfillment Specialist, the Cheese Excellence Director, and reports directly to the Chief Business Officer.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Product Quality & Safety

  • Support production of bulk cheese by retrieving bags, monitoring product integrity, and reporting issues.

  • Immediately report any food safety or mechanical concerns to Quality or Maintenance teams.

  • Maintain production schedules and ensure products meet company quality standards.

• Daily Operations

  • Operate and care for equipment (e.g., tower bagging, vacuum machine).

  • Perform sanitation and cleaning duties as required; maintain proper records.

  • Rotate job positions as needed across assigned tasks.

• Training & SOP Compliance

  • Become fully trained on all standard operating procedures, including:

    • Tower bagging

    • Vacuum machine loading

    • Cleaning/sanitation procedures

  • Help develop department policies with the Food Safety and Quality team.

• GMP & Safety Compliance

  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices, including:

    • Proper use of PPE (hair restraints, gloves, aprons, etc.)

    • Hand washing and glove changing procedures

    • Compliance with tobacco use zones and facility traffic flow

  • Promote a safe, respectful, and professional work environment.

• Additional Duties

  • Carry out any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned to support company needs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for 6–8 hours per shift

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety

• Team-oriented with good communication skills

• Prior food manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required

Hours: 7:00 PM- 7:00 AM (Monday-Friday)
