Express Employment in Platteville, WI has partnered with local businesses in Kieler WI, to search for candidates to support their company in a Truck & Equipment Wiring Technician role . This is a FULL TIME eval to hire position.

Job Title: Truck & Equipment Wiring Technician

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wiring systems for trucks and related equipment. This position requires someone with experience in automotive wiring, mechanical work, and potentially welding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install wiring systems for trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical and wiring systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in vehicles and equipment.
• Install accessories such as lights, sirens, radios, and other equipment.
• Assist with general mechanical work as needed, including wiring harness repairs and installations.
• Perform basic welding tasks related to mounting equipment or modifying truck structures.
• Follow safety standards and ensure quality control in all installations.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.

Requirements:

• Experience with automotive wiring, electronics, or related fields.
• Knowledge of welding and mechanical repairs is a plus.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use electrical tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.

Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay: $20 per hour
