Description:
POSITION PURPOSE:
Under limited direction of the Director/Supervisor and with medical direction of the radiologist, carries out appropriate ultrasound procedures and maintains related records; provides general assistant to the radiologist in interpreting studies and provides technical instruction to students and hospital staff. The age of the patients served range from infants to geriatrics.
SCOPE OF SERVICE:
Customers include: patient, family/visitors, co-workers/volunteers, nurses, physicians, and vendors, as well as, regulatory commissioning agents.
$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS Full time day shift position hours of coverage range from 6am to 630pm, you get to pick what you work for shifts (8 hour, 9 hour, 10 hour, or 12 hour days). New and improved pay scale. Position requires one night of overnight call and call on rotating holidays.

Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). If not registered, just be board-eligible and pass sonography boards (abdomen and OB) within one year of hire. Must be ARDMS registered in vascular technology or obtain within 3 months of hire. Prefer prior sonography experience.
