Express Employment is seeking candidates for Utility Operator positions (1st and 2nd shift) in Dubuque, Iowa.

We’re assisting a local manufacturing facility in hiring full-time Utility Operators. This role requires flexibility, as the Utility Operator will float between assembly, CNC machining, shipping, and product testing as needed. Candidates must have basic computer skills and previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $18–$20/hour, based on experience
Schedule – 1st Shift: 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday
Schedule – 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm–1:30 am, Monday–Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

• Float between multiple departments including assembly, CNC machining, shipping, and product testing
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively
• Perform quality checks and ensure products meet company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to adapt to different tasks and departments
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Lift and move products and materials up to 50 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
