Job Overview

As a Value-Added Services (VAS) Associate, you will support the VAS team by using a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Perform value-added services activities; including, but not limited to, wire-cutting, pipe bending, CNC machine operation, engraving, sub-assembly operations, and other value-added services.
  • Assist with warehouse activities; including, but not limited to, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put-away, cycle count, inventory, and outbound processing audits, as needed. Ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Perform routine cycle counts for VAS materials.
  • Coordinate with supervisor or manager on all value-added services activities and performance.
  • Proactively problem-solve issues.
  • Utilize various pieces of material handling equipment (MHE) including pallet movers, stand up forklifts, high lift reach trucks, and order picker.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 1+ years of experience using a stand-up reach forklift, power pallet jacks, cherry picker, and sit-down forklift.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Ability to utilize, or learn to use, all necessary computer software.
  • Ability to utilize, or learn to use, all necessary industrial equipment.
  • Apply strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet minimum productivity standards.
  • Ability to be reliable, open to change, and adaptable.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a wire cutting, CNC, machine operator, and/or production capacity, preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse terminology and practices.
