Job Overview

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety, quality, and productivity within our warehouse operation. You will be responsible for overseeing assigned office and warehouse personnel while actively tracking, reporting, and driving improvement initiatives for key performance indicators (KPIs). ​

What You'll Do
  • Culture and Leadership: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor and motivate warehouse staff to achieve their full potential with a focus on identifying and developing future leaders. 
  • Floor Work Direction: Manage the allocation of tasks to warehouse staff. Ensure that work is performed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures. Collaborate with management to meet production goals.  
  • Customer Relations: Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.  
  • Personnel Management: Oversee performance evaluations of warehouse staff. Allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations. Resolve personnel issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.  
  • Analytical Excellence: Utilize data-driven approaches to optimize labor including automation, optimize inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse layout. Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions. 
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor, maintain and drive improvement initiatives for KPIs to ensure warehouse efficiency and productivity. Generate regular reports to track performance against set benchmarks.  
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure product accuracy. Monitor and enforce quality standards in warehouse operation. Collaborate with quality control team to continuously improve processes.  
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by upholding safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture among all employees.

  • Additional Duties: Perform tasks as assigned to support dynamic changes in business conditions. 
Qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, the Warehouse Supervisor must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and ability required.

Education/Experience:

  • Effective communication and leadership skills.  
  • Proven analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.  
  • Commitment to promoting a positive workplace and safety-first culture. 
  • Intermediate proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Tools. 
  • Proven experience in warehouse management a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, analytics or related field or equivalent work experience.
