- Operational & Cost Analysis: Analyze warehouse cost structures, including repacking, storage, and shipping rates. Evaluate labor needs and manpower efficiency to optimize workforce planning. Conduct time studies and apply basic engineering principles to streamline processes. Monitor and assess rate structures to drive cost-effective solutions.
- Workforce Forecasting: Analyze current work processes and accurately forecast future workforce and equipment needs. Optimize labor allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Data Extraction & Performance: Identify key data points and extract relevant data for decision-making. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track warehouse performance. Ensure data accuracy and integrity to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Data Analysis: Provide recommendations for process improvements and business optimization based upon data insights and discoveries.
- WMS Administration & Troubleshooting: Learn and maintain in-depth expertise in the WMS to support warehouse operations. Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with IT or vendors for resolution, and ensure minimal downtime. Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system use and best practices. Train and support end users to enhance system adoption and efficiency.
- Collaboration & Process Optimization: Partner with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse processes and system functionality. Provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by upholding safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture among all employees.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the Warehouse Systems Analyst must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and ability required.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, data science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and drive organizational change.
- Commitment to fostering a positive workplace and maintaining a safety-first culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse layout design and continuous improvement initiatives (plus).
